Relaxing Day Off

We had Friday off to do whatever and we were going to go on a day trip, but we decided to just take it easy. Rebecca and I, visited some local shops, and took the train to Mauerpark and experienced the local hangout.  We also walked by the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn Sportpark, which was the host of the German Handicap Championship for  Track and Field, so we some people warming up for that, which was cool. We visited a lot of interesting second hand shops, and vintage/antique stores. The most interesting thing I saw was a high heel phone, and we found a costume shop with really old costumes in it. We also went to the Zeiss-Grossplanetarium, but it didn't have any showings until that night, and we were told that they were only in German, but it was still a cool building. We also bought some soccer jerseys to show our German spirit, and took pictures with the giant german bear. The most exciting part of the day was buying our tickets for Amsterdam and Austria!
